California Dreaming!

Montana de Oro State Park, Los Osos, CA

Currently we are visiting with Lee's cousin Erma and her partner Ron in Los Osos. Good times and lovely walks. Today is the first day of no driving. Tomorrow we head to San Diego.

El Capitan and Bridalveil Falls

We took a ton of pictures in Yosemite and on the drive to the park. Most of them do no justice to the majestic beauty of the place. We drove the entire width of the park on Tioga Road, had a picnic and swim (Rob only) on Yosemite Creek. Viewed the highlights of the park while avoiding the heavy tourist traffic in Yosemite Valley. Came down out of the park into Fresno and spent a really nice evening and night with the Ratzlaff family.

East Entrance to Yosemite

Monitor Pass

Wow! We loved the Sierras. We spent time at Lake Tahoe and drove down the east side of the mountains. Camped in Toiyabe National Forest outside Bridgeport, CA in campsite practically all by ourselves. Took a 6 mile hike on Tuesday morning before heading into Yosemite via Mono Lake.
