Balboa Park

We spent July 3 and 4 in San Diego visiting our friend Trent. Spent time hiking and walking through Balboa Park. Tried to go to the beach on the 4th, but couldn't even get close! So, instead we walked about the Hillcrest neighborhood, found a farmer's market, made a nice dinner and caught some fireworks out the back of the apartment. Temperatures were in the upper 60's with marine air fighting the sun. Probably the coolest we will be in weeks!
